Maipu Password Breaking
Document
Step 1
Connect router by console port, Power on the
Router.
Step 2
Press “n” key continually till you finish full
booting process.
Step 3
Now you will be in user mode, then go to
privilege mode by giving enable command
router>enable – User Mode
router# -- Privilege Mode
Step 4
Go to filesystem & In Filesystem mode,
perform config-file startup
router#filesystem – go to
filesystem mode
router(config-fs)#dir – To view
the files in file system
router(config-fs)#config-file
/flash/startup – copy the configuration file
After this you will see old configuration loaded
on router. You can do changes in Username and password as required.
Step 5
Configure User name , password
credentials in Configure mode
configure
enable secret <passwd>
username <usrname>
privilege 15 secret <passwd>

Hi.. I have a maipu s3000 24 port switch which already have password set. So, I can not login into it. please help me how to remove login password or reset the switch to factory default.
